Real Estate Exam Study Planner
Enter your exam date and the hours you can study each week, and the planner spreads the modules of your course (or the Parts of your simulation) across the weeks you have, giving longer modules more time and keeping the last week for review. Plan one product or several, in the order the program runs: Course 1, Course 2, Course 3, Simulation 1, Course 4, then Simulation 2. Copy the plan or download it as a calendar file.
Course 1
Choose an exam date.
Choose at least one product and an exam date to build your week-by-week plan.
A study aid only. Book and confirm your exams with Meazure Learning. The plan splits time by the length of each module's study notes.
How does the planner work?
- Weeks available. From your start date to the day before your exam. For the next product, the plan starts the day after the previous exam.
- Review week. If you have four weeks or more, the last week is kept for the Mock Exam and Drill Wrong Answers.
- Time by module. Each module gets a share of your study weeks in proportion to how much material it covers, measured by the length of our Study notes for that module. A long module, such as Course 1, Module 6 on the key legislation, gets more hours than a short one.
- Your weekly hours. Each week lists the modules to cover and the hours for each. A module can start in one week and finish in the next.
- Export. "Copy plan" puts the plan on your clipboard as plain text. "Download calendar" gives you an .ics file that Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar can import: one entry a week, plus your exam day.
Book your exam date first. The exam administrator, Meazure Learning, confirms bookings; your education provider explains when you can book.
Worked example: Course 1 in eight weeks
Jordan starts Course 1 on Monday, October 19, 2026, has an exam on Monday, December 14, 2026, and can study 8 hours a week.
| Week | Dates | Modules and hours |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Oct 19 to 25 | Module 1 (4.5), Module 2 (3.5) |
| 2 | Oct 26 to Nov 1 | Module 2 (2.1), Module 3 (5.9) |
| 3 | Nov 2 to 8 | Module 3 (0.5), Module 4 (5.5), Module 5 (2.0) |
| 4 | Nov 9 to 15 | Module 5 (4.3), Module 6 (3.7) |
| 5 | Nov 16 to 22 | Module 6 (8.0) |

| 7 | Nov 30 to Dec 6 | Module 7 (8.0) |
| 8 | Dec 7 to 13 | Review: Mock Exam and Drill Wrong Answers (8) |
Module 6 gets about two weeks because it covers contract law and a long list of statutes; Module 1 gets about half a week.
Frequently asked questions
How many hours should I study for each course?
It depends on your background, the course and your provider's schedule, so the planner works from the hours you enter rather than a fixed number. Our guide on how long to study for the Ontario real estate exam discusses realistic ranges.
Can I plan all six products at once?
Yes. Add each product in program order with its own exam date and weekly hours. Each plan runs from the day after the previous exam to the day before the next one.
Why is there no print button?
Some browsers and app viewers block printing from a web page. Copy the plan into a document, or import the calendar file, and it will be with you on every device.
